Why this must be read:

Forty Days to Bespin covers the time spent between Han and Leia on the way from Hoth to Bespin during The Empire Strikes Back. They grow closer, consummate their relationship, and begin develop a deeper understanding for each other. For a while, this was one of the definitive H/L stories in the fandom.

Leela's characterization of Leia is the most humanizing I've read. She explores Leia's phobia of becoming close to others, yet still keeps her integrity and heroism. Leela also has in-depth backstories about Han which she uses in many other fics; she writes Han as a caring person without taking the smuggler out of him.

Oh, and the smut is hot. And Leia cuts up Han's bedsheets as home-made sanitary napkins. She's tricky, that one.

There's still a WIP called Tatooine, found here (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=leelastarsky&keyword=Tatooine&filter=all) on her LJ. The story hasn't been updated in a few years, but at least it's something. :)
