Why this must be read:

The first time Joey noticed was in Germany, when Justin crept into the hotel in the pale pre-dawn light. Joey was kissing a particularly enthusiastic fan goodbye, pulling her mouth up to his as he ran his fingers through her soft blond hair.

So, if you can't tell, I really like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's my first fandom, and anything that intersects with my new(er) shiny fandom makes me happen. Whereas the other two fics I reccommended were crossovers, this is an AU, which takes on an even more interesting twist when you consider the events of Chosen, the season finale of Buffy.

This is the only WIP I'll probably ever reccommend, because I really hate WIPs, but I really love this story. Georgina is a smashing writer, and the story is so engaging you get that simultaneous "Agh! This is so good!" with the "Agh! I can't believe it ends there!"
