Why this vid kicks ass: I am so bad at talking about vids, but I really love this one and I think everyone should watch it. It's done as a movie trailer for a non-existent movie that I wish was real because it looks freaking AMAZING. I don't think Mette has ever been rec'd as a vidder before, and I don't know if she has a whole lot of vids under her belt or not, I only know that this one is amazing and she's a fantastic artist.
The thing I like most about it is that it really tells a story, and it makes me want to see more. The timing is gorgeous, as well; the way she times footage to go along with the music and the changing tone of the song is just amazing. This could be a movie trailer for real. It's that good. And the voice-overs!! I love the voice-overs so much. She takes things that they've actually said and turns them into an awesome little story about family and friendship and love and OMG THIS VID MAKES ME CRY A LITLE. I am not ashamed to admit it. Okay, I'm a little ashamed, but I am owning it. Just go watch!
