Why this must be read:
In the first promos for Season 3, the producers of Roswell teased us all with a clip in which Liz is holding a gun. This is speculation fic that takes that image and runs with it. The story delivers far better than the show itself ever did. Maggie creates a Liz in this story that has found a way to regain control, and gives us a glimpse into who the character could have become.
Lyrical and dreamy, the story has a wonderful surreal feel that only emphasizes its disturbing premise.
