Why this must be read: This is the only Jaylee I will ever read, and that's mostly because of the author. And truthfully, the Jaylee is very light, this is mostly a gen fic. So don't be afraid if, like me, you avoid het fic like the plague. *g*

This is a series of letters between Jayne and his mother back on his home planet. And when I say letters, I mean short little notes, that nevertheless somehow manage to illustrate the characters beautifully. There's also a companion series, called Corresponding Notes, that focuses on Kaylee and River. I've read these fics over and over, and I never get tired of them.
