Why this must be read: It's fun to see Steel interact with other people. Especially well created original characters like Diamond. The banter is witty and the ending is sweet.

"What are you doing here," his cool blue eyes traveled her slim form clad in a white silk dress.

A slim ivory-colored hand smoothed over her platinum blond French twist, "I was assigned. Where is the break?"

"You were assigned? What do you mean you were assigned," his eyes grew hard.

"I mean, I was assigned," she shrugged her elegant shoulders. "Have you located the break or not?"

"I have not. That is normally Sapphire's duty and if you are here instead of her, then I would expect that you would be the one to locate the break," he moved towards the wall and leaned against it as if waiting for her to start a search.

She folded her arms across her chest, "Really? She finds the breaks? She turns back time? What exactly do you do?"

"My part. Now, where is the break?"

Again she shrugged, "I don't know. That isn't my prevue. Gold normally handles that part of our assignments."

He sighed as he started to move about the room, "Then why were we assigned together? And where are Sapphire and Gold."
