In just over 500 words Raye gets you to know Brendon, and his relationship with his band, builds up some tension, and then throws in a lovely moment with Shane (Brendon's roommate, and a friend of the band for a while now). I love coming out fics, and this is a jem.
'Stop being so gay, Urie,' he says, and Brendon blinks into Spencer's jeans.
'Don't repress me,' he says, but nobody notices the tremor in his voice. 'It's just the way I am.'
