This is both a fusion, a crossover, and a 'John is a robot' story: Rodney McKay is one of the geniuses who invented Skynet, and John Sheppard is the terminator sent back to find him. Sara Connor, Cameron, and John Connor are trying to find him as well. The story is incredibly intense, and John's struggle to understand the undertones of what is happening around him are both hilarious and poignant. The ending, while a little sudden, is a real gut-punch.
