December is Small Fandom Month on crack_van!

Sign up below if you want to make recs. First priority goes to fandoms that have never been featured here, followed by fandoms that have been featured a few times, followed by fandoms that were previously full-time but are now retired.

Note #1: a fandom doesn't actually have to be small to be recced -- there are still lots of big fandoms that have never been featured on the community!

Note #2: If you are signing up a fandom that has never been recced here, a fandom overview will be required. Overviews should include pics and biographies of main characters, story arcs, and links to fandom archives and communities, at minimum. Picture hosting is available on my webspace.

First, a dumb question: How does this impact the queue for animanga fandom recs? I know veleda_k is signed up to take a turn reccing Yami no Matsuei as the animanga fandom of the month whenever the mods here feel its turn has come, and if having it featured as part of small fandoms month would wreck its place in line, I should defer to her earlier sign-up.

But if it wouldn't have any impact at all, I'd be happy to do YnM as part of small fandoms month. Or to share the job with Veleda, if she'd be willing and the rules here allowed it.

Fandom Overviews

Two quick questions:

1. If we are creating a fandom overview, is it acceptable to cross post it?

2. I would like to take advantage of your webspace to host pictures. How do I go about doing that? (I'm afraid photobucket may eat them and I find overviews with the little x picture boxes to be very sad.)

Hmm, missed this. I'd love to do Dark Angel, had signed up to do the overview--one I'm actually working on as I also recently signed up to pimp the fandom on smallfandomfest.
