Hey all, I'm horseriderjen and I'm back from another round as your driver for the Harry Potter Fandom! This month I am going to be bringing you some of my favorites stories...from Fanfiction.net. Now I know that much of the stories on ffnet aren't very good, and I know the usual opinion about it-- but I promise there are good stories there! Why this must be read:

There are some many Harry finds a family for himself stories out there, but this one is very believable. It's not a big stretch to believe that a lot of the Slytherins were abused as kids, and we know Harry was.  So if some Slytherin adults who don't want to see any kids raised in abusive homes find abused children, they could then take them in so that the kids may have a better childhood. Of course when Dumbledore finds out he's really not very happy.

I've been on a bit of an ff.net bent myself, lately - there are a fair few good stories you can't get hold of anywhere else, and a lot that have a couple of issues that, if you read through them, still have a lot to say. The only problem being the sheer /volume/ of the site making it nigh-on impossible to find things! *clicks link*
