Now on to my Firefly OTP because I just can't stay away from these boys! :)

This is one of my favorite Mal/Simon pieces. Not only does Eleanor keep both of the men perfectly in character and so very real... but she also writes some damn hot sex. (And hey, there's nothin' wrong with that, now is there? *big grin*)

Also, Simon's dreams in this piece are gripping and haunting and tinged with all the best kinds of subtext. They're scary and horrific and yet still, somehow, very guh-worthy. I love a good dream piece, not to mention some well written H/C, and this story definitely delivers.

Plus? It's the first part of a series (all three parts are archived at the author's website... linked above)! And what's the one thing that's better than a really good piece of fanfiction? *MORE* really good fanfiction! :)
