The Perils of Detective Pauline by Litgal (adult)

Hi, I'm Dori, and I'll be driving the Sentinel van this month. I apologize for the late start--my hard drive crashed spectacularly last week and I've had to do some reconstruction.

Now to the rec:

Fandom: THE SENTINEL
Pairing: Jim/Blair
Length: short storhy
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] litgal
Author Website: http://litgal.brinkster.net/ficpage.htm
Why this must be read:

1. Hi, Litgal...
2. A logical explanation of why Jim keeps losing his gun.
3. Those of you of A Certain Age will recognize the reference in the title. For you young'uns who don't, "The Perils of Pauline" was a movie serial in the early days of cinema, wherein the heroine was constantly being put in mortal peril by some bad guy or other. Tied up in front of a buzz-saw, tied up and dangling from a cliff, tied up in a car about to explode... You get the idea. Let me just say that Detective Pauline in this story is Jim, for a change. *G*

Wait, "my hard drive crashed spectacularly last week and I've had to do some reconstruction".... that does remind me of something... oh, right!

When I was driving the Sentinel Van of Joy back in July '08, my hard drive crashed so hard the explosion could be seen from space. And now yours, too... Might be a curse? Chopec magic? Who knows, but I suspect evil forces are behind it all.

Anyway, good to see you made it!
