Why this must be read: Ignore the lame title, it's a great little fic. Buffy Summers finds a new boyfriend named Rick O'Connell. She thinks she's finally found a normal guy with nothing that supernatural about him... until he spills the beans about his past. Very sweet fic, even though I'm adamantly opposed to Rick/anyone-not-Evie, but a tired and lonesome Buffy/Rick actually works. Jedi Buttercup does a great job combining these two fandoms, something that should seriously be done more often.

I meant to comment on ff.net, BUT DUDE PLEASE FINISH ADVENTURES IN ROME. I would love to see how that turns out. Or do a sequel for this one. Anything. More Buffy/Mummy would be awesome :)

*grin* Sometime this year; it's definitely on my summer schedule. Can't get to it sooner, though, as I have a big stack of ficathon entries and promised giftfic to write first.

Glad to hear you enjoy it, by the way; I adore Mummy crossovers myself, but other fans (and other writers!) seem to be few and far between.
