The World’s Best Hangover Cure by Bistokids (Brown Cortina - Adult/18)

Why this must be read: because this is a fantastically erotic story that practically melts your computer screen. BK gives us gun play, a dominant, commanding Gene, handcuffs, and an ending that shows us just how these two men are equal in everything. Of course as well as being one of the hottest stories out there it stays wonderfully in character which just makes it more compelling.

Excerpt

Gene gestured fractionally with the gun. "Hands up." Silently, slowly, careful to do nothing to arouse suspicion, Sam raised his arms, linking his fingers on the back of his head. Gene nodded once, satisfied. "Right, up against the wall." The gaping mouth of the pistol followed Sam as he took the few short steps necessary, glancing back over his shoulder, unsure where this was going.

"Don’t turn round." Gene was curt, cold. "Spread ‘em."

Sam opened his mouth, desperate now to find out what was going on. Had Gene flipped? Was he arresting him?

"Do it!"

Ah yes, another compelling treatise on the interpersonal communications skills of two police officers. Ahem... *g* Another lovely choice Vic! :D

I'll have you know that extensive research has shown that, in 1970s Britain, this was the standard form of communication between police officers (and other Government agents ;D ) as laid down by Home Office guidelines. Sadly, it beame less common after the introduction of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, which tended more to advocate not pointing guns at each other and shagging like bunnies as the key to effective policing. Fact. :)))

Interesting, interesting. *strokes imaginary beard in intelligent fashion*

As this was the standard form of communication at that time for police officers and other government agents it really shouldn't be a surprise that it was such a turbulent time... what with the officers and agents all busy shagging like bunnies preocuppied with practicing effective policing.

Of course, effective policing will not join my personal list of euphemisms... i predict future giggle fits at very unfortunate moments. *g*

New report: For more effective policing, we need better equipment -- larger calibre weapons and better restraint systems, further education and a willingness to meet head-to-head with young offenders. Ahem...

Not to mention, obviously, a large and flexible staff topped off with a firm head. And an investigative body which should be prepared to delve into previously unexplored avenues.

...And then there's the question about whether the staff should have to wear helmets -- unlike in America, where they opt to do away with them most of the time, I know that Englishmen prefer to retain them.
