After the Worst asks what do Napoleon and Illya believe is the worst way a mission can fail. The answer wasn't at all what I expected, and I was also surprised by how Napoleon and Illya comforted each other afterward. However, such is the persuasive power of Nix's elegant prose, this story hit me with the force of a revelation.
Even if you don't find this vision of an established relationship universe as compelling as I did, I'm certain that you will agree that After the Worst is an insightful and poignant story, well worth reading.
