Many thanks for joining me this month. Hopefully, there wasn't any whiplash for the number of fics I've recced that were NC-17 or R! If you enjoyed the joyride, why not sign up to take a turn at driving the van?
Fandom: DC COMICS
Pairing: Bruce Wayne/Clark Kent
Length:20,000

Why this must be read:
Saved this one for last because it's epic. Yes, it does run up to 20,000 words but believe me, it's so good, so satisfying, it reads like a seamless text of win. Bruce Wayne plays a department store Santa the night an alien crashlands into Gotham. When that alien identifies himself as a correspondent looking to interview Mr. Claus, there's nothing left to do than hide Clark (real name: Kal) until the action dies down. Throw in a snarky Alfred (playing a double role as Dobby, Bat-Santa's elf) intent in throwing one-liners whenever he can, the Bat tank, the romance (yes, romance) between Bruce and Clark, and you have a perfect excuse to set aside a block of time to read and re-read this gem.
