Why this must be read:
Because this story is ridiculously sweet. The kind of understated sweet that makes your heart ache and not your stomach. The language is beautiful language, and there is a central metaphor that just fits Arthur perfectly. I love this story for the way it examines the loneliness of being Arthur, and how Merlin can alleviate that loneliness.
