Why this is a must read:
Joss is a mastermind with his characters. And while I love Buffy herself, my all time favorite has to be Ripper- even though we don't get to see very much of him. And of course, while talking about Ripper I have to mention Ethan as well since he's usually the reason we see Ripper. Ethan is one of my favorites as well. In Changes, Ethan does a spell that sends Buffy back to 1977 London-- to a Ripper and Ethan who have just experienced the death of Randall. Not only do we get some wondeful Ripper moments but Gibberish gives us some insights into Ethan as well, showing us that theres more to him then meets the eye. And of course some very nice Buffy/Ripper moments.
