Why this must be read: For the ending. Oh, how I love the ending to this fic. I'd say why but for fear of ruining it. So, let me just say that it's a great angsty!Sam fic with a fantastic Sam and Gene friendship, plus serious head injuries for Sam. And then there's that torturous ending (more painful for the reader than for Sam.)

I never had a problem reading it. Unfortunately, while her other fics are at the Life on Mars fic site The Collators Den, this one is not. If I there were another place to link to the fic, I would.

I physically CANNOT read it. My eyes are not the eyes of a teenager. What can I say? Middle age sucks, and these kind of color choices don't help.

Hi there. I apologise for the problem with the colours on my LJ. I never realised they made it so difficult for people to read what's posted there. Thanks for pointing that out, though: I think I'll change the background colour to a tone that's softer on the eye.
