Why this must be read:
This story is a rollicking time travel story, not leaving characterization behind. With the large cast, this must not have been easy, yet Han, Leia, Anakin Skywalker and a Force-ghost Obi-Wan Kenobi (hush, you've seen the movie!) are so much the better for having small squibs that not only describe their film selves, but that show their appropriate actions. For instance, Anakin crashes his ship and must fix it, and then when he finds himself in the Original Trilogy, he must fix that, too. Fun and fast-moving, written with a gift for cliffhangers, over twenty chapters of this story set everything right again with large dollops of humor. The crack_van posting guidelines say to "comment on a repeated theme", which time travel certainly is in Star Wars, and I haven't found a better or more fun example of such a story.
