Why this fic must be read:
Think of the term 'AU,' and then apply it strongly to this fic, a possible joining of the two Chosen Ones (Anakin and Buffy). Anakin shows Buffy the same determination to protect that he shows canon-Padme, but Buffy may be beyond his protection. It is Qui-Gon Jinn who is Buffy's true protector, saving her from an unmentionable threat. This story opens so many doors to the vast range of Star Wars fandoms, Crossovers and Gaming, that it took me aback, but the rec is for the on point characterization of Anakin and Qui-Gon and a damaged Buffy, done in very few words.
