Why this must be read: The problem with riding off into the sunset is that it inevitably gets dark afterwards. My favorite author's take on how Rick and Evie got engaged - in the middle of the desert on the way back to Cairo after The Mummy, wrapped in a filthy flea infested blanket sleeping next to a camel. Nothing fancy, or even clean, for those two! Amusing, excellent dialogue, and Jonathan is just so perfect - he just wants them to stfu already and agree lol.
