Now what can one say about jantalaimon? In my self-imposed quest to bring you some of the stranger sides of the Life on Mars fandom, Janni stands in a class of her own. Her fic is generally filled with quirky humour, black comedy and unsettling twists in the tale. She also has a knack for taking accepted fandom tropes and pushing them as far as she can to incredible comedic effect and / or brain breakage.

Here she takes the fact that Sam loves his mobile phone and turns it in to ‘Sam loves his mobile phone’. Throw in a little of the timey wimey wibbley wobbley principle that Life on Mars is based on and you have a classic love story across time, space and possibly sanity as well.
