I must wholeheartedly support this recommendation. This story is fabulous, one of the classics. I have it printed out, and I reread it when I'm sad because I smile so hard at the end.

I came into SV fandom--or at least the fanfic reading/writing, interactive part of it--post-S1 and I know a lot of people are even newer than me and might not know about the excellent, excellent stories that were written all those (okay, two, at most) years ago.

I'm limiting my picks to the things I actually save on my own computer (my print-out equivalent), but that's still...a lot to choose from. I could run a mini-archive of excellence, should that ever be necessary ;)
