Hello, it's been long and long since I've taken a turn at the wheel and I've never driven for the Angel/Buffy category of the JossVerse. I tend to kind of bounce all over when it comes to these fandoms, so I'm hoping that I can rec some good fic across the board for y'all this month. *grin*

Why this must be read:

While this a short little fic, it is intense and profound and speaks perfectly to the nature that lies just beneath the surface of Angel. And while it is an Angel/Cordelia 'ship story, it should also be a good read for those that don't ship that pair as it is told through the eyes of Angel and primarily focuses on him as a character in the face of his loss.
