I am not a blind man by delgaserasca (PG)
Hi, I'm imaginer8614, and I'll be driving the NCIS van this month. I'm personally a Tony/Ziva shipper (but I'll do my best to include some gen) and just a general Ziva fan. I'm also not very tech-savy so excuse the lack of amazingness with links and what not.

Why this must be read: Everythingdelgaserasca writes should be read and I know by the end of the month I'll have recced more of her stuff. "I am not a blind man" smothly and beautifully integrates Ziva's tendency to mess-up idoims, and makes that fact into a kinda of underlying theme. But don't be mistaken this fic is not funny but really deep and sort-of sad in a good way though. It basically explains what is behind how Ziva reacts to Gibbs's memory-loss. It gives us a completely believable history in beautifully thought out syntax, where every word matters and nothing is not important (something my former English teachers would love). It's just so perfect, I can't explain it here. It is the kind of writing that sticks with you and has the lines you need to think over a couple times in order to realize their true meaning.
It is the thing you know nearly instinctively, liking taking in one breathe and expelling it before taking the next. It is the thought that shadows your hand when you move to strike, and the weight of the act caresses every notion. An eye for an eye. But you will not go gentle into that good night. When Death comes you will be waiting, and you will go out with both your eyes.
