This one was first recommended to me by the lovely

neaslon, and after I’d read it I understood why. It’s a very good and well-written angst story, and it’s also post-SR. =) In the fanfic Starsky and Hutch are in a committed relationship, but their relationship is not what it once was. Starsky makes an effort to fix it, but sometimes Hutch just gets it all wrong.

Excerpt: "We're in Hawaii and you're daydreamin'? Starsky's voice dragged him back to the present.

"I saw the pants and got pulled back thinking about Duluth" Hutch admitted.

"Yeah, well, I figured we'd take the curse off 'em by showing you a good time. Give ya' something besides a blue jean companion."

"Blue jeans are great on you," he said. Softer, "and off you."

"Hey, we said ..."

"I know. Maybe I shouldn't have agreed."
