Why this vid kicks ass:
Because it shows what to me is the heart of the Terminator story: the love between Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor. Reese fell in love with the 'Legend' before he ever saw her and came across time for her. His believe in her and his sacrificing love made her strong, made her fight, for their son and for mankind's future. And that's what this vid shows beautifully.

Oh, my. MB as Reese always makes me go all gooey inside, and he has since I first saw Terminator 25 years ago. This is a lovely vid, and I thank you for reccing it.

It is, isn't it? I love fanvids the best when they have a theme to it, where song and images become one. There used to be some like that for Aliens too, but they seem to have vanished now ;-(

I'm glad you're enjoying the recs. It's a great pleasure to be able to do this and I'm grateful to the crack_van people for allowing it - heck, for having made and maintaining this community in the first place! And yes, isn't Childhood fabulous? Shows how life after Doomsday must have been a lot better than T3 or T4 in my opinion. (Don't know the series.)
