Why this must be read: This has been one of my favorite stories for a long time. The plot is pretty simple; while traveling on tour, back in earlier days, Brian and Nick find a dog and decide to keep it. The only problem is keeping it hidden from the rest of the group. This story isn't particularly flashy, but there are some truly wonderful group interactions. I've read this story countless times, and it grows on me every time.
