Why this must be read: This is a post "The End" story that once again features Drunk!Scully and Drunk!Mulder hanging out in a bar together ( I guess I have a weakness for this haha). The language in this is harsh, intense, relentless, and so, so, so HOT. Scully is angry here, she has a definite edge to her persona that comes from the drinks but also from the situation that she and Mulder are in at the end of season 5. Some of the metaphors and analogies are hilarious and others almost make you want to cry. When an intoxicated Mulder keeps thinking to himself, "She's going to leave me. I know it" it just breaks my heart. I've had this story in my favorites for a long time and I'm really glad to be the one that's reccing it here.

Sometimes direct linking will work but it's not supposed to (& the link you posted goes to an error page). Your best bet is to access the author page for MustangSally, which can be found here: http://krycek.gossamer.org/author/10861-1.html (which is great in that people can sample her other XF fics, all of which are fantastic, IMHO).
