Why this must be read:

Suppose the war with Voldemort didn't go the way J.K. Rowling told it - what would a survivor, say Ginny Weasley, do? How would she react?

This is a stark and bleak telling of that scenario. Ginny is living in the Muggle world, and her only communication with any wizarding folk is with Luna Lovegood. It's a short story about learning how to grieve; how it swallows you whole, but also how a person can come out the other side.

I love every word - emei takes the Ginny we know and transports her through the toughest parts of life. It is a great read.
