Into the Mystic by GreenWoman (G)
Fandom: THE SENTINEL
Pairing: none
Length: 16K
Author on LJ:
greenwoman
Author Website: GreenWoman’s Half Aft
Why this must be read: In honor of Halloween/Samhain, a poignant story of loss and recovery.
The first stories of GreenWoman’s I read (and it was some of the first TS fic I ever read) was the devastating Treeline trilogy. I cried and cried. Eventually, I dipped my toes back into her pool and discovered a nice variety of good tales. This story also deals with devastation but on a different scale. It is no less well-written and perfect for the more solemn aspects of the holiday.

From my spirit to yours I wish you pleasurable reading in this wonderful fandom. Cheers until the next time I snatch the van keys. And don’t forget to send those writers feedback! You’ll be amazed at how happy it makes them!

Perhaps I could persuade you to take a turn driving? We have a few volunteers lined up but we'll need more to fill the year. Think about it, hmm?

LOL - I'd probably steer the van up a bumpy lane, over the side of a cliff, passengers hanging out and screaming 'Wheeeee!' all the way down *g*
Seriously - I'm up to my eyeballs until just after Christmas, but if you still need volunteers after that, give me a poke and I'll happily have a go.
Thanks again for all your great recs.

Hee! That sounds like a Jim and Blair adventure to me! Don't worry about this year at all. November is covered and December is Small Fandoms Month. We have four or five people lined up, so we wouldn't need a driver until close to mid-year. I did a plea over at TS Talk that popped up some first-timers, so I'm excited about that.
I'll poke you as it gets closer. Thanks for considering it and I hope your year goes smoothly (and that you still have eyeballs in January!)
