*rubs hands* Yes, I'm allowed to pimp my favorite stories in this fandom again! And like my previous turn I want to start with a story from who I consider to be the ultimate Star Wars author, someone far better than the writers of Star Wars books even IMO, ardavenport. No one brings us a galaxy that's truly alien to us like she does. And she doesn't need grant scale wars and spaceships etc. to do it, no, she uses the small things, the subtle ones.

Why this must be read:
Life of Jedi is more than negotiating treaties alone *g*. And here they hunt a danger on a planet, where the populace knows it needs to be done, but isn't all too happy about it either. Why? You'll find out and as usual ardavenport manages to surprise. But first of all this is a very suspenseful story as Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan hunt the danger. And as always in her stories they are truly a Jedi master and his apprentice, with all the skills that make us love the Jedi so, and more importantly, also the mindset. I always come away from her stories convinced she's lived in the Jedi Temple herself, and this one is no exception.
