I think this pair of stories work really well together as it does reveal a lot about their characters as well, the details they imagine.

OMG yes -- that "hairy haunches" line has to be one of my favorite bits of fic-writing ever! And both these fics are totes wonderful (although I admit a bit of a preference for Sam's fantasy, just because I'm a Gene girl all the way. *g*)

I like the way the stories work together in that the nature of the fantasies they both have and, even more, the way those fantasies are expressed, just seem very revealing about the character of each.
