Why this must be read:
Crossovers can often seem very contrived as meetings are forced between characters that would probably never have “naturally” met without assistance from a crowbar wielding fan fiction writer. In this case, however, the crossover seems quiteorgasmic organic. Life On Mars is, in part, a detective show set in 1973 Manchester. The Professionals was a show about an elite “police force” (CI5) that was first shown on British television in the late ‘70s. While based in London, CI5 agents are shown operating all across the country.
This series is a great example of what a team bunny raising can produce. BK requested Sam/Bodie from DG who then wrote One in Every Port.. BK then wrote Meeting of Minds in response to a bunny from DG. DG then rounded the whole thing out with her final response.
Confused and baffled Sam is very confused and very baffled. Jealous Gene is exceedingly jealous. Sardonic Bodie is drily sardonic and considerate Doyle is just too sexy for Sam to look at directly. These stories dovetail together beautifully in a way that’s funny, extremely entertaining and rather deliciously naughty... Oh, and did I mention the handcuffs? *g*
