Why this must be read:
Choosing my favorite fic bystareyednight to rec was a little difficult, but in the end I picked this pair of fics for a couple reasons. They both tell the same story from two different POVs, but not the alternating POVs that you'd expect. The first shows an argument from Greg's perspective, highlighting exactly how frustrating it would be for a guy like him to put up with Nick's repression issues.
The second version of the fic shows the same argument and resolution from the very unexpected perspective of one of my personal favorite minor characters on the show. Both versions show just how far Nick's willing to push himself to give Greg what he needs, and the second version infuses enough humor to make you wonder why he worries about this stuff in the first place.
