lukexsylar and goes into the dynamic between Sylar and Luke. It's unapologetic angst but in the end also very romantic and it shows exactly what fans of this pairing sees in them - exploring their dependence on each other and the power balance. It's also a very in depth character study of Luke while still using few words and letting the readers figure him out themselves. The writing is very beautifully paced and always building until the ending.
It's a tear-jerker and a story I could return to again and again.
There are so many rules. Even for a seventeen year old who’s been contending with do and do not from all quarters; from Mom, school, the police. So many rules, and so many punishments if they aren’t followed.
Sylar had rules for everything.
