Why this must be read: Good Omens and Hellblazer don't exactly have what could be called similar mythology - which is why this crossover is extra impressive. The callback to Chantinelle and Tali really made this fic for me, but I imagine it's just as good coming from a purely Good Omens standpoint, too.

I love the challenge of weaving those two canons together in fics and RPG's. They're literary cousins after a fashion (Neil Gaiman has written John before,) and they're just barely similar enough that it can be done, with a bit of effort. Playing up the contrast in moods is a lot of fun.
