Why this must be read: I had a difficult time choosing which of the fabulous stories that are out there to start with, but I figured I should start with one that I've read more than once and one that has never ever failed to make me smile. It's a tag to the end of "The Girl in Boxcar #3" starting right as the girl leaves on the train leaving Heyes and Curry at the train station and we follow the boys to their hotel. The dialog feels just right and I can hear their voices in my head when I read it. Heck, I can see Curry smile as he says the last line of this delightful piece. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The great thing about jojo's work is that the portraits are so dead on. As you said, you can actually see the characters in your mind because they are so true to how we know them.

Nice rec. I'm so happy to see this fandom featured this month. I've been rewatching my first season DVDs.
