I was reminded of this rec--and that Vaughn (and, well, everybody) needs to go undercover in clubs more often--by Sunday's episode; however, the story is from the end of first season so there are no recent spoilers. (And while I think "they go undercover in a club" cannot constitute a significant spoiler for anyone who's ever watched the show, I'm not sure what it says about me that I can take makeup spoilers seriously... Possibly just that I've been in fandom too long, but there you have it).
Why this must be read: In a word, hotness. Because I have dealt with foot fetishists for a living and do not personally share their fetish, so trust me when I say that despite my complete lack of patience when it comes to the kink in question, this story is way hot. (Similarly, it's probably worth reading for that alone even if you are sick of Sydney/Vaughn or only read slash or whatever).
