Why this must be read:

I had every intention of not rec'ing the same pairing or the same genre twice in a row, but I stumbled onto this one last night and it just wouldn't let me go. I can't say too much about it without giving it all away, but suffice it to say that it takes two small but significant moments--one from "Meridian" and one from "Revelations"--and weaves them together as the jumping off point for something I never would have thought of but immediately believed. It's about pain, guilt, regret, loneliness, doubt...and about finding compassion and encouragement where it's least expected.
