I know I'm coming in late here but I thought I had no fic to rec and then remembered this. Apologies.

Why this must be read: I must admit when I first looked at the pairing for this fic I went, 'huh?' but I was also intrigued to see how it would work, and Kyra Cullinan really does make this pairing work. It's not very long and it's not some huge 'love at first sight' or 'we've just met but let's go to my place and have hot sex' thing (not that those are bad things, this fic just isn't one of those) it's a beginning but presented in such a way that you could see more happening, especially if Faith has her way. ;)

Kyra writes wonderfully and characterizes both of these very different women from very different universes well. It's just a lovely fic that has some wonderful imagery and just clicks in my head.
