Why this must be read: “One Coin, Two Sides” features two different stories about the Fleet finding Earth. I’m going to focus on the first part. In this version of events, they have found our 21st century Earth and are trying to figure out what comes next. It is a sad yet funny look at the ridiculously bureaucratic machinations of this planet as Lee and Kara try to learn the ropes. Except for the second—and independent—part, which is just sad and not really funny at all.

The Etat Civil office was actually second door to the left and third door to the right, and it took an embarrassingly long time for them to find it.
"We once traveled in deep space," Lee said through his teeth. "We found Kobol. We found Earth, for frak's sake."
