This is not a shipper fic in the traditional sense. It’s rather an in-depth exploration of a platonic relationship-or at least as ‘platonic’ as it can be when Jim Kirk is one of the people involved. Sure, there’s some flirtation (again, because Kirk), and Uhura is not entirely immune, but rather rarely for fic, this sparkle is not used merely as a means to an end-it’s kind of the point by itself. As the title implies, this is told in a series of drabbles in various points in time of their acquaintance. Some of are funny, some are hot as hell, and some are touching, but I can guarantee as you’re counting down the numbers, you won’t want this story to end.
