Followingisilweth's lead (whose rec reminded me of this story), I picked this in honor of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
lgbtfest (it was written for the fest in 2008). I chose it because it's a serious story about queer issues, rather than the slash, but this could maybe be read as Fraser/Kowalski preslash if you were inclined that way. You know how hard it is to remove the slash goggles. :D
