Why this must be read:
Although Pinto was the front-runner as the pairing of choice after Startrek came out, it's hardly the only awesome pairing the fandom has. Karl/Chris (Urbine) make a strong showing.
This is one of the best. Karl's upset, and Chris decides the best way to cheer him up is with beer pong. An, absolutely, flat out hilarious fic. Excellent interaction between the characters, awesome dialogue, and oh yeah, um HOT sex. Plus, we all liked it so much, she wrote MORE.
“We’re gonna play some motherfucking BEER PONG.”
Karl stares at him, disbelief written all over his features. “No. I don’t even know what that is, but no, we are not.”
“Oh, we so are. Come on.” He drags Karl up by the arm and shoves him towards the door to the house. “Kitchen first,” he fills in when Karl shoots a glance over his shoulder. “We have to get supplies.”
“Are you really going to make me do this?”
“Sure, why not? It’ll take your mind off things.”
“You’re assuming I’m a simpleton, then, if you think that’ll do it.”
Chris just grins. “Oh, trust me. It’ll work. It’s like magic.”
The Old Man and the Frat Boy links to the story, which can be read as a one-shot, but it does continue for a few more chapters after that and you should definitely read all of them
