Why this must be read: As Tara told a Dawn insistent on resurrecting her mother, Wiccans took an oath to not alter the fabric of life and death for selfish reasons. This leads to the question of why Tara allowed Willow to do so in resurrecting Buffy. "Charm" is a rather chilling look at why. This fic features top-notch characterization of Willow, and her growing control issues. What especially pleases me is handling of Tara's character, with her more subtle emotional intuitiveness.
