Why this must be read: A short story about Sylar's time in the Company prison cell, when the Haitian was standing guard. Sylar can't stand people not paying attention to him, but the Haitian is unmoved by anything Sylar does; not threats or pleas or displays. There's an incredible intensity of emotion in this piece. Sylar pours out everything he is against the Haitian, who quietly seems to accept it all. Powers echo personality in this piece, which never fails to move, or disturb.
