Why this must be read: This post-series fic, with Eve finding Lorne in his new bar, rings true to both characters. I actually rather dislike Eve, but find myself sympathisizing with her in this fic. Lorne's jaded world-view blends seemlessly with the Casablanca quotes, evoking the world-weary but still decent Rick Blaine.
