Why this must be read: Because it’s by a vastly talented multi-fandom writer who, we are fortunate, turns her attention to the boys sometimes to wonderful effect. Post-Manhunt, this features a truly fabulous conversation between Buck and Vin. Both voices are brilliant but, loving an edgy Vin Tanner as I do, his pov is extra-specially awesome :)
He and Buck had said their bit without speakin', and then he'd suffered through Ezra's mass of tangled words that mighta had regret snarled somewhere inside. Not that it mattered.
They were none of them perfect, and as far as he was concerned, him and them, they were good.
